Ah, yearning for the days of college. Miss those Bob Myers classes, eh? Well, you've spent a fair amount of time in the real world, which I have to admit I envy. I've been too scared to venture there, especially as you said, without having had an internship. But, it never hurts to look at something that may be a fit for you. You should apply to a few Masters programs and see what happens. I think the wiser course when it come to an M.A. is taking a break between undergrad and the next step, and I'm sure you'd be qualified for some nice Assistantships somewhere.

Whatever the case, I'm sure you're going to end up doing fine. Whatever you lack in terms of height, you make up for with spunk. :-P

Good luck!

Bret - You think you can be sneaky, using an alias, huh? ;) It's funny, when I was writing this post, I kept thinking about that Robert Frost in-class assignment where we as a group came up with a brilliant, metaphorical analysis, only to be completely ignored. I may miss that atmosphere that college provided, but definitely not those classes! ;)

I'm going to take your advice and look into other grad schools as I consider applying again. I'm still not sure yet if that's the path I want to take, but it's something to be considered again. Because you're right, they do provide opportunities to students that others can't get elsewhere.

I'm glad that graduate school is finally working out for you. It's difficult and at times uncertain, but I'm so proud of you for sticking with it. And when you graduate, you can look back at all you've accomplished and maybe be more ready for that real world.

And I love that line about height and spunk. Thanks for always making me laugh (even/especially at my own expense!). Love, Susan
