Definitely! Beginning with “learn to snowboard and ski.” Bunny hill, here we come :)

I could teach you the basics. With snowboarding you have to be prepared to fall a lot in the beginning. And by a lot, I mean every 5 seconds. But seeing as how you’re close to the ground to begin with, it wouldn’t be too bad. ;)

Bret: Teaching me snowboarding like you taught me how to play the guitar? Remember how that turned out? Exactly. It didn’t. =P

And not having too far to fall means it’s easier to get back up again. Ohhh! Metaphor!

Best Bucket List I’ve ever read. I’ll have to write mine now, thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks, Steve! I like to think this is just the beginning of everything I want to experience :) I hope your own “wish list” comes true.

In my 20′s I had a great bucket list: star on a TV show, learn to skydive, scuba dive with sharks, be on a soap opera, become an auctioneer, anchor the news, hula in Hawaii, have a baby…I did all those things and much more. Then, I got busy with life and didn’t update my list. Now, at 50, I’m picking up my pen and making a new list – this time around I hope to “grow myself” by helping others. I also find time to take short classes just to try stuff – like recently I took a welding class (much harder than it looks) and I’m currently learning how to make balloon animals! Who’s going to be the fun grandma now?! lol

I’m happy you have a bucket list – I hope you don’t ever let it run dry!
Cheers!

Thank you, Skye! I haven’t put a timeline on these…but I think that’s the point — not to accomplish each of these the fastest — just because, but to savor them, to put into writing some of my wishes in the hopes of making them one day come true.

I love that you say all of the things you’ve wanted to do (including having baby! A family of my own isn’t up there, but it’s my greatest wish and I’m thinking it’s part of the last four ;) and now you’re adding to it! Wonderful!

A fun Grandma absolutely :) Thanks for writing, Skye — best of luck and, more importantly, lots of fun!
